Step into the world of Zeytounian Rugs, a third generation family business, where the beauty and artistry of fine rugs come to life. Founded in Beirut, Lebanon over seven decades ago by the uncle of Nicholas Zeytounian, a master craftsman who passed down all his knowledge of the rug trade. In 1979 Nicholas Zeytounian moved his business to San Diego, California. Zeytounian Rugs has since been passed down to his twin sons. Today, co-owners Anthony and Alexander Zeytounian carry on the legacy of their family’s passion and expertise in rug cleaning and repair.

With years of hands-on experience and a deep knowledge of fibers and materials, Anthony and Alexander are committed to providing the best area, oriental rug, and tapestry service in San Diego. Their unwavering dedication to quality, professionalism, and work ethic sets them apart from the rest.

Having grown up working alongside their father since their early childhood, the twin brothers possess an unparalleled passion for the trade. After graduating from San Diego State University, they wanted to further pursue their passion for rugs by deciding to take over the family business. 

Today, with two identical pairs of hands that make the work flow easier, Anthony and Alexander continue to uphold the family’s tradition of excellence. Their love for the artistry and craftsmanship of fine rugs shines through in every rug and tapestry they work on. At Zeytounian Rugs, they don’t just clean and repair rugs – they preserve history and art.
